Av Today we started off by going to Mailles mustard store located in ”Place de la Madeleine” (https://us.maille.com/blogs/boutiques/la-maison-maille-paris). It was a really nice experience, you could taste lots of different mustards and buy them on tap in nice pots. We bought one with truffle taste, that was really delicious.
After the visit to Maille we continued to stroll east towards ”Canal St Martin” area. The kids found a playground and we just enjoyed whatever came in our way. We stumbled upon an arcade hall that turned out to be the highlight of the day for both the kids, that is the fun part about strolling around with lots of time to discover things, you find hidden gems and experience things you would never have found in guidebooks.
We had a really nice afternoon in Canal St Martin area, walking along the channel. The aim was set on visiting the store ”Le Maison du cerf-volant” that is specialised in kites of all kinds. The store was really great and the kids was amazed by all kites. We bought a couple of kites to bring home and the kids were really happy with the store visit.
The area around Canal St Martin was a very cosy neighbourhood so we had no rush to go home.
