Av The itinerary is now finalized and we will be going on a 10 day trip this summer. The places we will visit (our hotel stays) are:
- Nurnberg (first night, only sleep)
- Verona 2 nights – close to lake Garda, plan is to relax and buy some nice wine :-).
- Cap D’ail 2 nights. Visit Monaco and also just relax and see what we are up for.
- Juan les Pins 2 nights. We will visit Antibes market and maybe some other nearby villages. In this hotel we will not have a pool but we count on the beach to be top notch.
- Avignon 1 night. When going to Avignon we plan to visit Luberon/Provence and hopefully see some lavender fields this year. We will also visit L’isle sur la sorgue again, the charming small Town that we went to last year.
- Lyon 1 night. Just to shorten the drive up to Champagne we will stay one night in food capital of France and see what we can do there. Hopefully walk around and find some ”Trompe L’oeil”. We also hope to be able to experience the traboules (secret passageways that was previously used for transporting silk).
- Dizy (Champagne) 2 nights. Our favourite and recurring destination. We will stay in the same hotel we have stayed 2 times before. It is nice, clean, free parking and affordable.
- We plan to drive the whole way from Champagne to Malmö but if the traffic is terrible or something occurs we might have to stay one night in Germany on the way home. We will keep an open mind :-).
