Todays route can be found below, in total about 6 hours drive so a bit less than yesterday.

We started the day early and left Nürnberg around 8. The drive started good, but after about one hour we realized that autobahn was closed further down our route, so we quickly checked and found a reasonable detour. When we approached the stau, we felt it was indeed a good desicion to leave road A9. It was crazy how many cars, and they stood completely still. The detour was a blessing and probably saved us an hour or two, so we were really happy.
After about 3,5 hours we arrived in beautiful Innsbruck, our lunch stop for the day. Alex had found a place called Tiroler Speckeri that had really nice looking plates of different hams and sausages for 15 euro per person.
We strolled through the very charming old town. There were so many beautiful houses to see.
Before we were ready to get back in the car, we were set on going up in the Stadtturm. About 150 stairs takes you up to a plattform with amazing view over Innsbruck. All four of us felt a bit tired in the legs but it was really worth it, the view was very nice and very freightening at the same time.
After a cuople of hours we were satisfied with Innsbruck, and got in the car to drive the last 3 hours to Verona/Garda. It turned out to be a bit longer, the famous Brennerpass didnt fail us, and offered looooong lines of cars combined with slow slow driving. Yummy! And it is not even high season for holiday… ?
Beautiful views make the car ques a bit more pleasant. ? Lines and lines…
But finally we arrived in Garda, the sun was shining and the pool nice so the hours in the car was soon forgotten. ?☀️
