Av Today it was time to leave Italy and Garda area to go to France. The route for the day was about 400 km and a bit less than 5 hours.
We left quite early and had lots of time so we made a quick desicion to go to a shopping center close to Brescia with a Primark store. Funny thing was that they had an IKEA store inside the mall, so we really felt like home. Except that at home the price is around 2,9 eur for meatballs instead of 7,9… ?
After some shopping and a very nice lunch we continued towards Cap d’Ail. The drive went smooth, not much traffic, but very hot, the temperature was around 34-36 degrees celsius the whole day. ??
We arrived in Cap d’Ail around 16.30 in the afternoon and after checking in, we went straight to the pool. Both the hotel and our room are great, and we have a terrace facing the harbour where we can sit and watch the luxury boats.
After some relaxing in the pool we took a walk towards Monaco, we made a quick stop in Carrefour Fountaineville to get some beer and wine, and after that we continued to Stars & Bars, a very nice burger place in Monaco harbour. Funny detail was that their menus were digital.
We enjoyed some very nice burgers with a nice view over Monte Carlo. After dinner we played some pinball before we stolled back to the hotel.
Monaco is very nice to stroll around in, cool cars and boats everywhere you look so it never gets boring.
After a long day full of happenings we were all very tired so we had no problems going to sleep. ?
