Euro roadtrip – day 5

The day started with a nice breakfast in our terrace, while plannning the activities for the day. The desicion was to go to Eze and drive the famous Moyenne and Grande corniche. But first we went to the hotel pool to take a swim to Monaco ? (we have the border right in our pool…).

After an hour or so, we were ready to go on our excursion. The drive to Eze offered very nice views on the Moyenne corniche, and when we came to Eze the first stop was Fragonard perfumery. Perfect since they had parkings there and this turned out to be somewhat difficult to find… So when we learned that the next factory tour in English was in 1,5 hours we decided to leave the car and walk up to the village and the famous Jardin exotique. It was very hot and we were quite tired when we arrived at the top but the views was amazing. 

On our way down, we stopped for some pizza in the village before we returned to Fragonard in time for our tour. The tour was fun, you got 8 different scents to smell and decide what it was, we managed to get 6 out of 8 right ✌️.

After the Fragonard tour and some souvenir shopping, we got back in the car and drove towards Villefrance sur mer, to get to the Grande Corniche that was our planned route back to the hotel. And the views was amazing here as well. The road is where Grace Kelly died in a car crash in the eighties. 

When we got back to our hotel we just chilled at the pool before we enjoyed some ”mixed-goodies” dinner on the terrace.
