Av Time to say goodbye to Antibes and head towards Provence. Below is the route for the day.
First a quick breakfast and then we packed our stuff in the car and headed towards the first stop, to buy a zip bag that we bought last year as well, but our daughter lost it so we wanted to get a new one. We stopped in a café in St Raphael for a cup of coffee, before going to neighbour town Frejus to buy the bag, and luckily we found the seller in the market. ?
After the visit in St Raphael we drove towards the outlet McArthur Glen outside Aix-en-Provence.
After some shopping and lunch we got back int the car and continued towards Gordes and Abbaye de Senanque. Time to see some lavender Fields ?. There were lots of tourists and cars, even though the temperature was around 40 degrees celsius. So we took extra time to look around in the airconditioned store… ?
After the visit, we continued on small roads around Gordes and continued towards L’Isle sur Sorgue to our hotel.
The hotel luckily had a pool so the first thing we did after checking in was to go to the pool. After swimming we were quite hungra, but didnt really feel up for a restaurant visit. Lucky for us a pizza foodtruck parks right outside the hotel every saturday (the hotel had no restaurant itself). So the Choice was easy, pizza it was! Delicious pizza by the way! ?
After some grocery shopping we chilled in the hotel, and watched the swedish football team beat Germany in the world cup quarter final. ✌️??
