Av After a smooth flight from Copenhagen to Paris CDG Airport we took the RER train to Paris and went straight to our hotel. Since we flew quite early we had lots of time to spend even the first day, so we headed to the ”Jardin de Luxembourg”, our favourite parc in Paris. We went there in 2012 as well and it was so appreciated by the kids, mostly due to their little rental sailing boats that the kids can play with for a very reasonable fee.
The boats are only one fun thing to do with kids in ”Jardin de Luxembourg”, they also have lots of playgrounds and other things to do. It is also possible to have a picnic in the parc if you want to. This parc is really recommended to visit.
After the parc, we were a bit hungry so we found a nice little bistro where they served traditional french food, the kids had crepes and the adults had cider in coffe cups :-D. But as always, it is the strange and odd things you remember the most so we cherish this memory…
After finishing our lunch we strolled towards Sacre Coeur and Montmartre that was the goal for the day. We really liked Montmartre. The kids had a little challenge in climbing the stairs up to Sacre Coeur but they managed very well. When we arrived to the top we got to enjoy the nice view over Paris so that was a nice reward.
After this tour we were all quite tired so we went back to the hotel.
